Join us September 11 for this dyeing workshop conducted by member, Suzanne

Chappell. We will be dyeing 5/2 tencel or cotton that will be used for a Guild

challenge. You will learn the basics of Ice-Dyeing.

It is necessary to sign up for the workshop and pay a non-refundable materials fee.

There are two choices; guild supplies the yarn or you bring your own scoured and

skeined warp yarn.

Materials supplied Materials you will need to bring

5/2 yarn - scoured Deep tub with lid

Fiber reactive dye powders Rack for raising yarn off bottom of container

Soda ash presoak Apron or wear old clothes

Mask Gloves

Ice Lunch or snacks

Bring a friend – Guests are welcome to take the workshop.

Share this experience with a non-weaver. There is an option to ice-dye a cotton scarf

blank.

Bring your beverage, and a snack or lunch.
